— 1 Thessalonians 4:16The Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End
Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God, the promised Messiah foretold by the prophets. He came into the world not to condemn it, but to save it. Through His death on the cross and His glorious resurrection, He opened the way to eternal life for all who believe.
He walked the roads of Galilee, healed the sick, raised the dead, and spoke words of eternal life. Today He sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us, and preparing a place for those who love Him.
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." — John 14:6
The voice crying in the wilderness: "Prepare the way of the Lord"
John the Baptist was the prophet sent by God to prepare the way for Jesus Christ. Born to Zechariah and Elizabeth in their old age, John was filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother's womb.
He lived in the wilderness, clothed in camel's hair, eating locusts and wild honey. He preached a baptism of repentance in the River Jordan, calling all people to turn from their sins and prepare their hearts for the One who was coming.
When Jesus came to be baptized, John saw the heavens open and the Spirit of God descend like a dove. He declared:
"Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" — John 1:29
John's courage and faithfulness remain an example for all believers — a voice calling us to readiness before the return of our King.
Jesus told us to watch and be ready — for we do not know the day nor the hour
Wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, and famines in various places — Jesus said these are the beginning of birth pains. The world groans, waiting for the redemption that is coming. (Matthew 24:7-8)
"Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold." But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. We are called to keep our love burning bright. (Matthew 24:12)
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." We are witnessing the Gospel reaching every corner of the earth. (Matthew 24:14)
"Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming 'I am the Messiah' and will deceive many." Discernment is essential in these last days. (Matthew 24:4-5)
"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people." The Spirit is moving powerfully, calling people to repentance and awakening hearts across the nations. (Acts 2:17)
"When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." Our salvation is closer than when we first believed. (Luke 21:28)
